Coming into Victoria, an advert on the roundabout proclaims that ‘You’re 1 in a million.’ Another advert reminds us that ‘Diversity’ is this country’s special value. 

You are indeed just one, a number among others, different because you are just an integer.  As for diversity, it seems that there are some special ones, more diverse than others.  And as time passes we are getting more diverse, with some becoming richer and others poorer. 

No wonder some may boldly proclaim that they are special even among a million. Nice words do not hide nor heal the great wound of our people except perhaps in the perception of those who enjoy themselves.  The sacred principle of private property serves some very well especially when laced with greed.
