Mediterranean Heart Malta Business, a Chinese-owned, Malta-registered company specialising in servicing visa residency applicants under the Malta Residency Visa Programme, recently arranged a visit for delegations from top range internet companies from China, including LKC, a blockchain technology application platform.
Chinese investors met with delegations from the OPM and the MFSA, led by parliamentary secretary Silvio Schembri and CEO Joseph Cuschieri respectively.
The delegates were impressed by Malta’s offerings and determination to gain first mover advantage. More tangible results should be expected when the proposed legislation becomes effective.
Mediterranean Heart has been operating in Malta since 2009 from two offices, one at the Gzira Strand and another at the Valletta Waterfront. It employs more than 30 people and envisages substantial growth given the success and attraction of the MRVP.
Mediterranean Heart is now extending its operation for the promotion of blockchain and cryptocurrency projects currently being spearheaded by the Malta government and the MFSA.
This results from the great interest being shown in these developments from Visa Programme clients who are keen to participate in Malta’s vision of being the jurisdiction of choice for blockchain and cryptocurrency.
