Times of Malta quotes the employers' president saying the population could reach
700,000 in a few years’ time if Malta's dependence on foreigners to fill the gaps in its workforce persisted. It also cited a new study which shows children are not satisfied with the recreational areas where they can play.

L-orizzont says the country's debt was going down by €636,000 daily. It also reports the employers' statement about the volume of foreign workers who could leave an impact on Malta's infrastructure. 

The Malta Independent reports that the objections towards the db Group project in Pembroke had mounted through a massive petition. It also reports Justice Minister Owen Bonnici saying that the parliamentary comments on the judiciary backing the granting of warrants to two lawyers had now been "clarified".

In-Nazzjon says local councils have been stripped of funding and power. A second story says cereals and sugar will not continue being given to patients at Mater Dei Hospital.
