Times of Malta says a report by an Italian anti-Mafia foundation has warned that Malta might be “taken over by Mafia interests” if nothing is done. It also reports that owners of VRT stations want to increase the price of the biennial vehicle test by around 50 per cent.

The Malta Independent reports that three people were remanded in custody, charged with inciting hate against the police. It also reports concerns by Pitkalija operators as more imported agricultural produce is passed as local.

In-Nazzjon also picks on Friday's court case, and quotes magistrate Joseph Mifsud saying nobody had a right to incite hatred against the police. It also reports that two men were charged with the Ħamrun murder.

L-orizzont quotes President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca underlining the importance of trade unions. It also quotes Labour MP Rosianne Cutajar saying that for some, entities freedom of expression does not apply equally.
