Bank of Valletta would like to advise its esteemed customers that due to a planned upgrade to the BOV Internet Banking platform, BOV 24x7 Services will be unavailable on Sunday from 2am onwards.

It is estimated that the service will be restored early in the morning on Monday, May 21.

As previously announced, this upgrade will result in the launch of a new BOV internet banking portal, which will be easier to navigate and more user-friendly.

Until the systems are updated, the bank’s internet banking and mobile banking, as well as phone banking, will not be available. BOV Cards and ATMs will not be affected, so customers may continue using them in the normal manner.

BOV will be issuing another notification as soon as the system upgrade is concluded and the service is restored.

Meanwhile, subscribers of BOV mobile banking are advised that following the upgrade, they will be required to update their BOV mobile application from their Android or iOS stores.

While apologising for any inconvenience caused, BOV would like to assure its customers that all necessary action is being taken to ensure that the downtime is kept to a minimum.

Meanwhile, anyone wishing further details or assistance can contact the bank’s Customer Service Centre via customercare@bov.com or by telephone on 2131 2020.
