Heritage Malta is opening its museums and sites in Gozo for free on Saturday (May 19) on the occasion of Gozo Alive.

The sites that will be open are the Gozo Museum of Archaeology, Old Prison, Gozo Nature Museum and Gran Castello Historic House all situated in the Citadel and Ġgantija Temples and Ta’ Kola Windmill at Xagħra.

The four Heritage Malta’s museums in the Citadel will open from 9am to 5pm as and from 7.30 to 11.30pm. The Citadel Visitors’ Centre will also open for free. Ġgantija Temples and Ta’ Kola Windmill will open as per normal opening hours, between 9am and 5.15pm.

During the open day guided tours will be available at four Heritage Malta’s sites.

These include the Old Prison at 10am, Ġgantija Temples at 11am, Gran Castello Historic House at 11.30am and Ta’ Kola Windmill at noon.
