The Żabbar Sanctuary Museum is organising a public lecture about the plague and its effects in the 1800s.

Vincent Peresso will be giving the lecture titled Il-Pesta tal-1813 u Ħaż-Żabbar, based on original documents uncovered during his research in various archives. His talk will deal with several issues of the era, including the life of Żabbar residents and how life went on despite the trying and difficult times.

This event, which is open to the public, will be held tomorrow at 7pm at the Żabbar Sanctuary Museum.
