Paul Zammit will continue to be in charge of Birkirkara FC after he put pen to paper on a new three-year contract, the Premier League side announced.

Zammit returned to Birkirkara last September when he replaced Peter Pullicino and under his charge, the Stripes managed to secure a return to the Europa League qualifiers after finishing fourth in the Premier League and reached the final of the FA Trophy.

Birkirkara also said that Mark Buttigieg and Godfrey Grima, who acted as Zammit's assistants this season, were also confirmed by the club.

Michael Valenzia has been confirmed as a technical director for another season.

Birkirkara also announced that they had installed a new physical trainer, Marco Caser.

For Caser this will be his second experience in Maltese football as he had also worked with Zammit during his time at Valletta FC.
