The ‘solar rights’ referred to in the Times of Malta report (May 3) are not something artificial or unreal.  If the Planning Authority really respects Maltese citizens in general, and not restrictedly developers and their endless quest for money, then it should as of now start implementing serious policies that drastically quell all projects that rise to levels higher than the roof heights of all adjoining buildings.

Anything short of that continues to be totally disrespectful to existing house owners’ rights.
