CAMILLERI. On May 9, at Villa M.SS.ma Annunziata, Balzan, Sister Livia (of the Sisters of Charity), aged 94, passed peacefully away to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her sister Mary and her husband Mr Paul Galea, their children Maria, Antonella and Joseph, her nephew Rev Fr. France Micallef O.P. other nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today, Thursday, May 10, at 9.30am at the chapel of the convent of the sisters of Charity 55 Birbal Street, Balzan, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. DALLI. On May 9, JULIAN, of St Julian’s residing in Marsascala, aged 51, passed peacefully away at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rolanda, his son Daniel, his sister Marianne and her daughter Michela, his mother-in-law Ines, in-laws Anna and her husband Martin, Ruby and her husband Hector and Raymond, grandchildren, cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, May 11, at 8.15am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment in the family grave at Qormi Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Movement would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
GALEA. On May 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, née Cassar, widow of Edgar, residing in Sliema, aged 97, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Paul, Fabiana and her husband David, grandchildren Mark and his wife Nadia, Rachel and her husband Andrew, Andrew and his wife Silvana, Nicola and her husband Graham, Suzanne and her husband Steve, Sarah-Louise and all her great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, May 12, for Nazzarenu parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. RIZZO. On May 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA, née Cuschieri, of Valletta, residing in Tarxien, widow of Joseph, aged 95, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Cecilia and Antonio Filippetti, Rose and Andrea Laera, Josephine and Andre Von Hoesslin, her beloved grandchildren Sarah, Anita, Marzia and Patrick, her great-grandson, her brother-in-law Joseph Calleja, her sister-in-law Doris Cuschieri, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Saturday, May 12, at 9.15am at San Nikola di Tolentino (Augustinian) church, Tarxien, followed by interment at Erwieħ cemetery, Tarxien.
