Low-fi trio Bark Bark Disco, known for their raw, edgy, sound are making us fall for them all over again with their latest single, Big Love.

Bark Bark Disco - which started out as a project by Ian Schranz and now also includes Rebecca Theuma and Daniel Cassar - recently returned from a very well-received tour in the US.

Not that we ever fell out of love with these guys, but the new tune reminds us of all the reasons the trio brings some of the freshest sounds to the Maltease alternative scene, with an entry that tugs at our heartstrings while making us move along languorously to the beat at the same time.

Do we want to listen to this while sipping some comfort wine in the dark, or do we want to get down and dirty on the dance floor? Probably both. Colour our emotions confused, which is not unlike real-life love, which is what makes this track so amazing. It brings all the feels and we keep getting drawn in for for more...

The tune is accompanied by a gorgeous video, produced by Francesca Mercieca and Jack Hayter and starring some familiar faces from the local alternative scene, including Schranz himself.

The video is a kaleidoscope of soothing greens and swirling water acting as backdrop for some really big love. Because Big Love is all about all shapes and forms of love, hetero normative and not, motherly, sibling, platonic. It's destructive, kind, claustrophobic, messy, liberating...
