The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra’s ‘Family Fanfare’ concert for this year, entitled Dare to Dream, will be held at St Agatha’s Auditorium, Rabat, on Saturday.

The story revolves around a boy named Samwel who wants to learn to dance but does not know how to make his dream become a reality, and finds no help to make it happen. Saddened and feeling helpless, he climbs an old tree with a mysterious hiding place inside of it.

There he meets an Old Man who befriends him. To Samwel’s surprise he learns that the Old Man was once a dancer and he tells the amazed young boy all about his dancing adventures around the world when he danced from country to country as a young man.

And this is not the only surprise in store for Samwel as he slowly starts realising that dancing is not the only thing he and Old Man have in common.

The show is directed by Jean- Marc Cafà with choreography by Christina Cauchi.

Dare to Dream will be staged at St Agatha’s Auditorium, Emmanuele Vitale Street, Rabat, on Saturday at 5pm. For tickets, visit https://www.showshappening.com .
