The Ramblers’ Association of Malta is organising a guided visit to Argotti Botanical Gardens, Floriana, on May 20.

The visit will be led by Joe Buhagiar who will show participants around the garden and talk about the native and endemic plants grown there.

The infrastructure of this section of the gardens, which is managed by the University of Malta, has recently undergone various improvements.

Members of the association and guests are to book in advance for the visit, as the Botanical Gardens can only take a limited number of persons at one time.

The walk will be start at 8.30am (not at9am as inadvertently stated in the RAM programme.) To book, send an e-mail to ram205@gmail.com. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until May 19. A small entrance fee is payable on the day.
