Fathers, may we get your attention please? Are you scratching your heads, trying to think up of a gift your little one can give to his mother for Mother’s Day next Sunday ? Worry no more, Lupettin has come to the rescue.

Lupettin iħobb lill-mamà is a new title in the Lupettin series the hugely popular children’s wolf character who is always up to some mischief or other. But for this once, the little wolf foregoes his cheekiness and is telling us us all why he loves his mother.

“You’re the most beautiful mama,” he tells her. “I love your smell and I love your hugs,” he goes on. He is in awe about all that his mother does: she’s the best at drawing, she’s the fastest at running, and that is why, he tells her, “I will love you forever and ever”.

Lupettin iħobb lill-mamà is about the special bond between a child and a mother. It is an ode to one of the strongest connections in nature, written and illustrated in the sweetest of manners.

Written by French author Orianne Lallemand and illustrated by Eleonore Thuillier, the book has been translated into Maltese by award-winning author Clare Azzopardi, who has given it a life of its own, with carefully chosen words which enhance the dialogue between the mother and child.

The book is printed in sturdy padded hardback with rounded corners and comes with a European CE safety standard.

Lupettin iħobb lill-mamà has no fixed target age but it is a book which can be read by the mother and child to each other, perhaps even adding their own little cues of love for each other, making it the perfect gift for Mother’s Day.

Lupettin iħobb lill-mamà is available for sale from all bookshops or directly online from www.merlinpublishers.com
