Musicians from Spain, Hungary, Poland and Italy will this evening perform chamber music for strings, saxophone and piano by Robert Schumann, Pedro Iturralde and Paul Bonneau, as well as pieces inspired by the traditions of their respective countries, at The Splendid, Strait Street, Valletta, from 8pm onwards.

The repertoire will include Pequeña Czarda by Iturralde, Deux Caprices en forme de Vals by Bonneau, and Piano Quartet Op. 47 by Schumann.

The performance, entitled The Momento, Sax, Strings and Piano – Schumann, Iturralde and Bonneau, is under the artistic direction of Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci and is organised as part of the Strada Stretta Concept, under the auspices of the Valletta 2018 Foundation. Admission is free.
