These are the leading stories in local newspapers this Monday. 

The Times of Malta reveals leaked Electrogas emails in which company directors appear to discuss a "friendly figure" within the OHSA who can help warn the power station company about safety spot-checks. 

The newspaper also reports that domestic violence reports filed by men have steadily crept up and now make up one in every four cases filed with police. 

The Malta Independent reports that the massive swarm of jellyfish which drifted towards Malta last week could have a beneficial impact on swimming conditions this summer. 

The newspaper also gives prominence to ARMS Ltd.'s statement on Sunday in which the company insisted that tariff billing methods have remained unchanged since 2009. 

L-Orizzont focuses on Joseph Muscat's Sunday speech, with the newspaper quoting the Prime Minister's pledge that the country's next big change will be in the environmental sector. Dr Muscat used the speech to discuss a bottle recycling scheme that will soon be introduced. 

In-Nazzjon dedicates its front page to the Nationalist Party's general council opener on Sunday, with the newspaper highlighting leader Adrian Delia above the headline "We want to develop a better future for our country."
