The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, May 7 at 2pm for Our Lady of Victories (Marija Bambina) parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Sultana tal-Vittorji Cemetery, Mellieħa. BORG. On May 4, at St Vincent De Paule residence, GAETANO, aged 93, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Josephine, his sons Kenneth and wife Corinne, Tano and his wife Maria, his grandchildren Jade and Dale, Emily, widow of his brother Frans and his wife’s sister Ċensina, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. CASSAR. On May 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANNA (Annie il-Ġermaniża), of Valletta, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her daughter Josephine and her husband Vincent Camilleri, Charlie and his wife Rose, and Anton and his wife Jacqueline, her grandchildren Heinrich, Holger, Calvin, Elaine and Dale, spouses, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mother’s Day bazaar
A Mother’s Day bazaar in aid of the Guardamangia parish church will be held at the parish centre until next Sunday. Opening hours are from 9.30am to noon and between 3 and 7pm.
Prayers for priests and vocations
A prayer meeting for the sanctification of priests and for priestly and religious vocations will be held on Saturday at Gudja parish church. The prayer meeting starts at 9pm with Mass, followed by adoration until 11pm.
