PwC Malta recently opened a state- of-the-art building specifically designed as a space for its clients to experience, learn and innovate. With its location adjacent to the PwC offices, ‘The Hub,’ which is the name chosen for this 2,000-square-metre space, has been designed to fit two concurrent architectural concepts – a contemporary learning space for PwC’s Academy and a collaborative space to innovate with PwC’s clients.

Learning at The Hub goes beyond the traditional sharing of knowledge in a classroom style. PwC’s Academy is a concept that has been growing since its inception in 2010 and which today offers learning solutions tailored for clients’ needs in areas of business and finance, skills development, information technology as well as business innovation and critical thinking processes. The Hub facilitates a unique learning experience for a wide variety of people ranging from students seeking a qualification to start-ups, to C-suite clients and to corporates who choose the academy to meet PwC’s specialists and people, experts in their respective fields.

The learning zones, which include three IT labs and which are equipped with the latest technologies, provide an ideal space to share best practices and experiences.  This methodology is being enhanced to include online learning, a key component within today’s client-oriented blended learning journey.

Beyond the learning experience, The Hub extends an opportunity to PwC’s clients to make a connection that facilitates their search for transformational and innovative solutions. Supporting business organisations to continuously evolve and adapt in the face of a constantly changing and increasingly complex environment has always been at the forefront of PwC’s service offering.  The Hub offers a distinctive environment where clients can experience working with PwC to co-create innovative ideas, opportunities and dynamic strategies and to implement them.

The dedicated executive area, referred to as ‘the thinking factory’, is another area where corporateclients can identify, discuss and reimagine the future of their business.

David Valenzia, Territory Senior Partner at PwC Malta, said: “When designing and planning The Hub, our aim was to offer our clients, not only our distinct learning and consulting methodologies but also an exclusive, innovative setting that leads to business-driven collaborations and results.  It provides an obvious change in working methodologies, and is the first of its kind in Malta.  We are indeed excited about the potential of The Hub and where it can take our clients.”
