Organic lasagne sheets sold as spelt pasta under the Biona Organic brand contain wheat which is not clearly indicated on their label, health authorities have warned.

The 250g packets of semi-wholegrain pasta have durability dates ranging from October 12, 2020 to January 18, 2021, the Environmental Health Directorate said.

Wheat is a common allergen, with allergic reactions ranging from headache and nausea to rashes and even, in rare cases, anaphylaxis.
