Times of Malta leads with claims made in parliament that a police sergeant tipped off suspects accused of killing Daphne Caruana Galizia and warned them police were on their trail. 

In a secondary story, the paper reports that General Workers' Union profits have soared, with the union including more jobless workers in a controversial scheme it runs. 

The Malta Independent writes that government is keen to attract foreign IVF specialists through tax incentives, with embryologists included on a list of 'highly qualified persons' eligible for tax breaks. 

L-Orizzont writes that Ms Caruana Galizia's son Matthew has "pointed a finger" at the ex-husband of Simon Busuttil's sister and implicated him in the making of the car bomb which was used to murder his mother. 

In-Nazzjon writes that workers are living in poverty, uncertainty and injustice under the Joseph Muscat administration and that they have little to celebrate this May 1.
