Once again, I refer to Astrid Vella’s letter ‘Saving a green enclave’ (April 23) where she said I am twisting words and misquoting and goes on to say she never wrote that the features in our baroque garden are to be destroyed.

If one were to read her article of April 7, which she refers to, one would note the title ‘Destroy as the sun shines’. Right on top of the title were two large photos, one of a pigeon house and the other of our property from the roof. Nothing in these photos will be destroyed, yet, she decided to include the images. If this is not deceiving the public then I don’t know what is.

I will not go into the other points she brought up, however, I could not but smile when reading her article where she signed off “Astrid Vella, New York”. Her love for the environment is so deep she decided to go and live in the land of skyscrapers. Need I say more?
