One Love Tennis returns to Malta on Saturday May 5 to host an exhibition and Play-Day event at the Marsa Sports Club for a group of 20 children from the St Patrick’s boys’ home in Sliema.

The event is being organised in collaboration with the Asciak Tennis Academy.

Michael-Ray Pallares, who founded One Love Tennis in 2011 and has travelled the world organising events for underprivileged and low-income youth, said: “I am extremely happy to come back to Malta for the second time and do something special for these amazing children."

The event is held in collaboration with the Asciak Tennis Academy, an international training centre situated at the historic Marsa Sports Club.

The exhibition will begin at 5:30pm and will feature Matthew Asciak, Malta's most decorated tennis player and Davis Cup Player who has also represented Malta at The Games of the Small States of Europe with Michael-Ray Pallares, a Davis Cup Player for the Dominican Republic who has represented his country at the Central American and Caribbean Games.

The exhibition match will be followed by a Play-Day for the children from the St Patrick’s boys' home with all proceeds going towards gifts, prizes, and donations of appropriately sized nets, racquets and balls to the school so that the children can play tennis all year around.

Organisations and individuals who wish to attend, donate, volunteer, or learn more about the project are asked to contact the foundation via the website at www.onelovetennis.org.
