Gozo College Middle School students raised 650 during a Walk for Water activity in the streets of Victoria to mark World Water Day. The money collected from passers-by, households and businesses will be used for a project to provide people with clean water in Kenya. Since 2012, the school has teamed up with Stitching Namelok, an international organisation, whose aim is to focus attention on the importance of fresh water and to advocate for sustainable management of fresh water resources in Kenya.
