The Times of Malta reports that Reporters Without Borders' annual index shows the island plunging 18 places in terms of press freedom. It also picks up on MP Simon Busuttil's claim in Times Talk that Economics Minister Chris Cardona should step down.

The Malta Independent says that over 100 artists have signed a petition calling for Jason Micallef to step down as the head of V18, and also reports that Pilatus Bank has closed down its UK branch.

In-Nazzjon also reports that Pilatus has started to wind down operations, along with the Opposition Leader assuring supporters that the PN will be the defender of the unborn child.

Both these issues also make it to the front page of L-Orizzont, with the newspaper also reporting on Pilatus winding down. With regards to IVF, however, it says that freezing embryos actually results in fewer being discarded, as well as the PD's stand on the Commissioner of Childen, claiming that children were being 'dehumanised'.
