Armenian State Symphony conductor Sergey Smbatyan
Maxim Vengerov, considered one of the world’s greatest living violinists, will be the star of a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, performed by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Armenian conductor Sergey Smbatyan.
Vengerov is the winner of a Grammy award, two Gramophone Classical Music awards, Classic Brit award, five Edison Classical Music awards and two Echo Music prizes.
This event forms part of the Malta International Music Festival, which is being held throughout this month and runs until May 1.
