The well-attended protest urging the government to re-think changes to the IVF law dominated the front page of the Times of Malta on Monday, which also featured the speech given by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat on Sunday during which he said that the annual mass meeting on May 1 would put paid to certain manoeuvres.

The IVF protest is also the lead story on The Malta Independent, which also runs a report in which organisation Doctors for Road Safety warns that drivers believe they will get away with breaking the law.

L-Orizzont says that the magistrate investigating the death of Daphne Caruana Galizia has cleared his desk of various cases pending before him, linking this to the fact that the slain blogger's family has not handed over her laptop to him. It also delves into the reasons behind the resignation of Kenneth Wain.

And In-Nazzjon also chooses the protest as its main focus, which it runs alongside the speech given by the Nationalist party leader Adrian Delia, in favour of the defense of the unborn child.
