International chemical weapons experts in Syria finally have the samples from Douma.
The team from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons left for Damascus on Saturday to the destination of an alleged gas attack that took place on April 7.
Samples will be transported back to the Netherlands, pending analysis.
France and the U.S. have accused Russia of obstructing access to the site, where medical relief agencies say dozens of people were killed.
But Russia and Damascus say the alleged gas attack, which triggered Western missile strikes on Syria, was fabricated.
Meanwhile, video uploaded to social media showed Syrian rebels withdrawing from an enclave northeast of Damascus on Saturday (21 April).
It comes as part of a surrender agreement.
Some will go to eastern Syria, where Islamic State still holds some territory, and others to rebel enclaves in the northwest.
It restores state control over the eastern Qalamoun enclave and marks another victory for President Bashar al-Assad.
Footage captured by Hezbollah appears to show another government offensive is underway in a besieged enclave south of Damascus.
The al-Hajar al Aswad district is part of an area that is held by Islamic State and and other Jihadist groups As well as home to the Palestinian Yarmouk camp.
The U.N. agency that cares for Palestinian refugees, has said it is deeply concerned about the fate of civilians and some 12,000 Palestinian refugees.
