Enemed has successfully collaborated with F. Busuttil ServiceStation of Bir id-Deheb, Żejtun, to establish the first franchised fuel station in Malta. Enemed will also be collaborating with a number of other fuel station owners  for other fuel stations to be franchised in different locations across Malta.

The franchising of fuel stations  will allow the fuel market to develop further and give customers further choice and knowledge of the products they would be acquiring.

Enemed expects all franchised locations to benefit from improved customer services and this particularly since all franchisees will be undertaking to abide by the high standards established by Enemed. To this end, Enemed will undertake to provide the franchised fuel stations with the necessary commercial and technical support.

All franchised locations will be subject to rigorous checks which Enemed will be carrying out in order to ensure that all Enemed products are delivered to customers in the best possible condition and through the best possible service.

Fuel stations which are not franchised by Enemed may still be selling Enemed products but any such fuel stations will not be subject to the same rigorous checks and high standards which Enemed will be requiring from its franchisees.

All fuel stations which will be franchised by Enemed will be selling superior quality EN590 diesel, known as E-Diesel. E-Diesel keeps the car engine cleaner, improves performance, and does not contain biodiesel. It also contains higher cetane value when compared to standard grade EN590 diesel.

“Enemed has built substantial reputation and goodwill for its brand associated with high-quality products, service and standards,” Enemed executive chairman Kevin Chircop said.

“The development of a franchise network is the best model to guarantee the continuing enhancement of Enemed’s reputation and image as well as the best standards in terms of quality of products and service for consumers. The franchise network should contribute to boosting competition on the market among suppliers of diesel and among fuel stations, resulting in more competitive prices for diesel at the retail level. It should also empower the final consumer to make a more informed choice when deciding to buy diesel.”

Customers can identify franchisees through the Enemed marks (typically in red, white and grey) which will be displayed in distinctive areas at the franchised fuel stations.
