Taħżiż6, the sixth edition of a creative writing programme for teens and young adults aged 16 to 35, is inviting applications from prospective participants until May 7. 

The programme will consist of monthly seminars, as well as a residential seminar, some of which will also be open to the public. Some of the writings generated during the workshops will be published. The language of instruction and the final publication will be in Maltese. Participating is free of charge.

Applicants are to send an e-mail to agenzija.zghazagh@gov.mt with their contact details as well as the following: a description of their other interests besides writing; an introduction and motivation letter; their CV written as a short story in 150 words; a photocopy (front and back) of their ID card and a poem or short story written recently.

The selection of participants is at the evaluating board’s discretion. The programme is also open to past participants but new ones will be given priority. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/events/205306096726574.
