Maltese astrophotographer Ramon Curmi captured this image of the Andromeda galaxy. At a distance of 2.3 million light years from Earth, Andromeda is one of the closest galaxies to our own Milky Way galaxy. Two smaller satellite galaxies of Andromeda, Messier 32 and Messier 110, can also be seen in the image.
