Studio 18’s Muso Merlot is back this April for the third year running – this time at The Italian Job Restaurant, Bay Street Complex, St Julian’s. Featuring songs from The Greatest Showman, Hamilton, and La La Land, along with classics from shows such as Les Miserables and Jesus Christ Superstar, this is every musical lover’s one stop shop.

The premise of this event is simple: to savour an eclectic, spicy mix of some of the best musical theatre tunes over a glass of wine... or two. Accompanying a number of Studio 18’s young performers are John Cutajar on keys and Conrad Dimech on guitar. John Cutajar has recently obtained first place in the Grand Prix of the ‘Piano Solo’ category in the Open Europe International Festival – Contest of Arts in Russia.

Featured artists performing during the evening include stage personalities Rachel Fabri, Chris Grech, Roger Tirazona, and Nadia Vella – as well as Studio 18’s barbershop quartet Barbetti. This mix of performers has been seen in leading, supporting and ensemble roles in local productions throughout the year, from Evita to My Fair Lady; from The Phantom of the Opera to Jesus Christ Superstar.

The event takes place on April 27 at 8pm at The Italian Job. Tickets are available by sending an e-mail to operations.studio18@gmail.com, calling 7980 6352 or directly from The Italian Job.
