BORG. On April 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARISA, residing at Żejtun, aged 56, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sisters and brother, Jennifer and her husband Donald Sant, Hilary and his wife Caroline, Rita Edith and her partner Massimo Aufieri, her nephews and nieces, Karen, Bertrand, Sheryl and Kevin, her adopted brothers and sister, her housemother and carers at Dar Jean Vanier, Żejtun, and also all the staff and carers at Dar il-Kaptan, Mtarfa, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Tuesday, April 10, at 8am for St Catherine parish church, Żejtun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at St Rocco Cemetery, Żejtun. Donations to Fondazzjoni Nazareth, Żejtun or Dar il-Kaptan, Mtarfa, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
ROSSI. On April 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANK, aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church, joining his beloved son Alex. He leaves to mourn his great loss, his beloved wife Josephine née Micallef, his sons Michael and Cora, Simon and Debbie, his grandchildren Annamaria, Michela and Alan Frendo Jones, Alexia and Julian Caruana, Sarah, Edward and Matthew, his great grandchildren Bettina, Mark, Peter and Lucia, in-laws, relatives and friends and his dedicated carer Bernard Manapat. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, April 11, at 9am for Ibraġ parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SPITERI. On April 9, at the convent in Balzan, Sister ANNE, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, her nephews and nieces, other family members and friends. The funeral takes place today, April 10, at the convent chapel in Balzan, at 2.30pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
ZERAFA. On April 7, at San Gorg Preca Ward, Mount Carmel Hospital, YVONNE (Giovanna), aged 84, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. Loved and never forgotten by her sister Resyl, widow of Joseph Anthony Spiteri and her children Andrè and his fiancée Analise, Anne Marie and her husband Marco and her grandniece, Matilda. She also leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Michael and his wife Lina, Raymond of Australia and his wife Carmen, John and his wife Phyllis, her sister-in-law Lina, wife of her late brother Joe, her sister-in-law Jane of Australia, wife of her late brother Edward and their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mount Carmel Hospital on Thursday, April 12, at 8am for Mosta Parish Church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Cemetery, Mosta.
