Despite the difficult season that Arezzo are enduring both on the field, trying to salvage their Serie C status, and off the field, fighting to keep the club alive financially, Zach Muscat still managed to attract the interest of several Italian clubs.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the former Birkirkara defender is linked with a pair of Serie B clubs, Virtus Entella and Carpi, and Triestina and Monza who are in Serie C.

Muscat, who returned in action for Arezzo despite suffering an injury while on national duty with Malta against Luxembourg last March, has played 25 times for the club in all competitions.
