A public performance presenting an installation by Helene Markstein, titled Pax – The Puzzle that is Peace, will today see the participation of four choirs at the Gġantija Temples in Xagħra at 5.30pm.

Taking part will be the Voci Angeliche, Aurora Youth Choir, Gozo Community Choir and Gaulitanus Choir.

Later on, at 7.30pm at the Ministry for Gozo Hall in Victoria, soprano Paola Leoci, winner of the Concorso Lirico G.B. Rubini, will perform in a concert titled Cherished Arias. She will be accompanied by pianist Natalia Rakhmatulina.

Tomorrow, the Gaulitanus Choir soloists will perform in an event titled Tea Party with the Musicals at Hotel Ta’ Ċenċ, Sannat, at 4pm.

Marthese Borg, Patricia Buttigieg, Annabelle Haber and Stephanie Portelli will interpret a number of well-known classics from My Fair Lady, Show Boat, Oliver, The Phantom of the Opera and Les Misèrables, among others.

This concert forms part of Gaulitana’s Music Alive series, aimed at presenting live music to a wider audience.
