The Malta Canine Society is organising its Spring Championship Dog Show tomorrow and on Sunday at St Benedict College, Kirkop. Judging dogs will be Robin Newhouse, a well-known international judge from England.

Two hundred dogs from 56 different breeds will be participating at the show, which will commence tomorrow at 3pm with the toy and gundog breeds, and with the junior handler class, which is a competition for young boys and girls aged between 10 and 17.

On Sunday, there will be two shows, the first one at 9am featuring hound and utility breeds and another at 3pm with the terrier and working breeds. The finals, in which all group winners compete for the coveted ‘best in show’ title, will be held afterwards.
