I read on this newspaper (March 26) that “the European Commission has questioned the government’s decision to buy Air Malta’s London landing slots”.

I am sure nobody is worried about this and the Commission will certainly give its approval, as it had approved the placing of a tanker at Marsaxlokk against existing EU regulations.

Still, if I remember rightly, on the day of the tanker’s inauguration, there was back-tapping and smiles by, if I remember rightly, high nobs of the Commission. So, do not worry folks, the Commission will approve this too.
