The Sacra Militia Foundation, a voluntary organisation that studies the military, naval and other aspects of the Order of St John, is organising a series of public lectures.

The first talk of the year will take place on Tuesday at Casa Lanfreducci, the headquarters of the Maltese Association of the Order of St John at Jean de Valetta Square, Valletta.

The speaker, Gabriel Farrugia, will present a public lecture entitled ‘A maritime identity, a legacy from the days of the Knights’.

The talk will be held between 6.30 and 7.30pm, with doors opening at 6.15pm. The members of the Sacra Militia Foundation and the public are invited to attend. Entrance is free. For more information, send an e-mail to dmunr01@um.edu.mt.
