The tickets for the Isle of MTV Malta Special show will be capped at the maximum capacity that can safely be handled at the Fosos in Floriana.

The Malta Tourism Authority reassured that the concert on Wednesday June 27, will remain free for all to enjoy - but that the audience will need to get tickets.

This is being done through a partnership with international ticketing specialist Ticketmaster/Universal.

Free registration should be carried out through the official www.isleofmtv.com website.

Fans will have the option to pre-register for the event, which will be open for two weeks prior to the official ticketing launch. Those fans that choose to pre-register will be able to apply for ticket registration 48 hours before the official launch, and will also enter into a ballot for the opportunity to win a pair of VIP tickets to the event.

The maximum capacity of the Fosos was determined by health & safety as well as security consultants, which the organisers said would meet both local and international demand.

A maximum of 4 tickets per individual can be applied for. On the day of the event, both printed and digital tickets will be accepted at the various entrances to the concert.

To ensure the safety of all attendees, only fans with a legitimate ticket will be allowed to enter the event.

While there are no age restrictions, those under the age of 14 will need to be accompanied by an adult, and all attendees should have a form of identification on them.

Once the maximum capacity is reached, the website will not accept any additional requests for tickets.

A dedicated Isle of MTV box office will be in operation locally on specific dates to handle ticket registrations, answer queries and manage any event related issues. This will also aid those fans that are not able to access the website or do not have a valid email address.

Should there be any enquiries relating to ticketing, fans can contact [email protected] or visit the Isle of MTV box office.

Fans should also e-mail [email protected] if they are no longer able to attend the main show if they have registered for tickets.
