Italian television presenter Fabrizio Frizzi has died after suffering a brain haemorrhage, media in Italy have reported.

He was 60 years old.

Mr Frizzi was a fixture on Rai Uno, where he presented a variety of shows ranging from Scommettiamo Che to Luna Park, Domenica In and several editions of Miss Italia.

He was presenting ongoing show L'Eredita until last week.

Mr Frizzi ran into health trouble last year and was rushed to hospital in October after collapsing during filming of an episode of L'Eredita. He subsequently returned to presenting in December.

The popular presenter is survived by his wife Carlotta Mantovan and their four-year-old daughter.
