• Good Friday processions will be held in various parishes. Today, Palm Sunday, the procession will leave the Cathedral in Victoria at 6pm and Qala parish church at 5.30pm. On Good Friday processions will be held at St George’s Basilica, Victoria (5.30pm), Xagħra (6pm), Nadur (6pm) and Żebbuġ (6pm).

• Early Man (PG) will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.

• The Għaqda Drammatika Għajnsielem will be presenting The Passion: Then and Now at Fort Chambray, Għajnsielem, today at 6pm with a repeat performance in English at 7.30pm.

• L-Ahhar Seba’ Kelmiet (The Last Seven Words) is a special concert-cum-feature being organised by Chorus Urbanus and the Don Bosco Oratory at the Oratory chapel in Victoria on Tuesday at 7.30pm. Sacred hymns and reflections will be accompanied by projections, drama displays and special light effects under the musical direction of Mro John Galea and artistic director Salvu Cremona. Everyone is invited. No need of prior booking.

• A blood donation session will be held at the Gozo General Hospital Outpatients Department on Tuesday from 1pm to 5pm.

• Holy Week services in English will be held at the Sacred Heart Seminary, Victoria, as follows: Today, Mass is at 10am; on Maundy Thursday, Mass is at 5pm; the Good Friday service starts at 3pm; Easter Vigil Mass is at 7pm; and Easter Sunday Mass at 10am. • Holy Week functions at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will include the solemn celebration of the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday at 6.30pm and the commemoration of the Passion of Christ on Good Friday at 3pm. On Easter Saturday, Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a Marian celebration at 9am. An Easter Vigil of Prayer will be held at 8.30pm. Masses on Easter Sunday will be said at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and at 5pm.

• Foreign residents of all denominations are invited to the annual pilgrimage of the Seven Churches organised by the Legion of Mary on Good Friday. The pilgrimage will start from St Augustine Square, Victoria, at 9am.

• The Way of the Cross, organised by the Don Bosco Oratory, will be held at Għammar Hill on Good Friday. Departure from Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary at 10am. Everyone is invited.

• Holy Week functions at the Don Bosco Oratory will include Mass on Maundy Thursday at 7pm, the Good Friday function at 4pm and the Easter Saturday Vigil at 8pm. The Strait Ahead band will animate the functions.
