The ALS Malta Foundation is holding another art exhibition event to raise more funds to continue its mission to finding a cure for this terrible disease. Today, Dar Bjorn in Qormi will once more open its doors for those interested to come and experience a unique art collection of 20 life-sized paintings featuring worldwide personalities. These paintings are original framed works by one of Malta’s top artist, Ed Schembri, who focuses on abstract art.

This event will be a one-day art marathon, from 9am to 9pm, which aims to invite art lovers to take advantage of super-accessible prices. Those attending will have a chance to meet Bjorn Formosa, founder of ALS Malta, and the artist himself while sipping a glass of wine.

“No doubt that in terms of abstract art this is an inimitable event not to be missed. This unusual art expo will feature life-sized paintings of well-known people, from Lennon to Gandhi to MLK and many more. Besides, this is also another opportunity for the public to support ALS Malta as we are continuously raising awareness and offering support to ALS and MND sufferers. Our commitment remains the same and endless, that to offer the essential support to these people and thanks to Ed Schembri, all profits from these paintings will go to ALS Malta,” Bjorn said.
