A number of pedestrians in Valletta's Melita Street got an unexpected shower by a strategically-placed pipe used to drain water from a roof.

Pedestrians could only watch in disbelief as water was drained from a pipe on top of a government building, currently being turned into MUŻA, the new National Museum of Fine Arts.

The water was seen splashing down in front of Musuem Cafe, one of Valletta's most popular eateries.
