A 58-year-old woman was grievously injured in a traffic accident in St Julian’s on Wednesday.

The police said the British woman was a passenger on a bus that was involved in a collision with a car that was being driven by a 26-year-old woman from San Ġwann.

The bus was being driven by a 51 -year-old man from St Paul’s Bay.

The accident happened in Ġorġ Borġ Olivier Street at 4.15pm.

Earlier, a 54-year-old man from Rabat was grievously injured in a collision between three cars at Mdina Road, Mrieħel. The accident happened at 3pm.

The police said the man was driving a Range Rover that was involved in a collision with a Golf, driven by a 19-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay and a Peugeot Partner, driven by a 43-year-old man from Dingli.
