MIFSUD. On March 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANGELA WENDY MORNA, née Scott Brown, aged 65, passed away peacefully comforted by her family and closest friends. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband Vince, her son Russell and his fiancée Ana Vella, her brother Kit and his wife Chris, her in-laws, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The celebration of Mass præsente cadavere will be said today, Saturday, March 17, at 11.30am at Ta’ Braxia Cemetery chapel, Pietà, followed by interment. No flowers by request but donations to Dar Bjorn, Qormi, will be greatly appreciated. May she rest in eternal peace.

MUSCAT SCERRI – WINNIE. Too many years have passed and I am running short of dedications but rest assured that I will not stop of remembering you – special respectful friends like you remain in my heart. Rest in peace angel above. Sandra.

Lija Last Supper Table

The Lija parish is organising a replica of the Last Supper Table according to Jewish custom at the Old Parish Church of Our Saviour.

The production is among the first of its kind and has lost none of its original characteristics. Doors open on March 28 at 7.30pm with a blessing ceremony in the form of a prayer-vigil.

At the end, wine and bread are served to those present in memory of the religious event.

It will be open as follows during Holy Week: Maundy Thursday – March 29 – 8.30pm to 10.30pm and Good Friday – March 30 – 9am to 12.30pm.

St Patrick’s Day

Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Church, Sliema, today at 10.30am. for the Irish community and friends. Visitors are also welcome. Refreshments will be served after Mass.
