ATTARD. On March 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, GIOVANNA of St Julian’s, aged 98, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Marlene, Lina wife of Anthony Perry, Michael and his wife Lucienne, Frank widower of her daughter Elizabeth and his wife Maria, her beloved grandchildren Clive and his wife Carmen, Sandra and her husband Mario, Keith and his wife Sylvia, Claire and her partner Malcolm, James, Randolph and his partner Stephanie, Caroline and her husband Philip, Ann-Marie and her husband Karl, Ralph and Angele and her great grand-children, relatives, friends and all the staff and residents of Santa Bernadette Home in Attard. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Friday, March 16, at 1.15pm for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MIFSUD. On March 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANGELA WENDY MORNA, née Scott Brown, aged 65, passed away peacefully comforted by her family and closest friends. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband Vince, her son Russell and his fiancé Ana Vella, her brother Kit and his wife Chris, her in-laws, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The celebration of Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Saturday, March 17 at 11.30am at Ta’ Braxia cemetery chapel, Pietà, followed by interment. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar Bjorn, Qormi, are greatly appreciated. May she rest in eternal peace.
SPITERI. On March 15, CARMELO, from Żabbar, aged 87, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Maria and husband Richard Dimech, Josette and her husband Gino Brincat, Jimmy and his wife Gertrude Spiteri, grandsons and granddaughters. Mass will be held tomorrow, Saturday, March 17, at 8.30am at Żabbar parish church. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
