Fire engines were called to Mount Carmel Hospital on Thursday evening after a locker inside the facility's forensics lockeroom caught fire. 

Three firefighting units were dispatched to the scene, though two turned back while still en route after receiving word that the first unit had successfully put out the flames. 

Nobody was hurt in the incident, a Civil Protection Department spokesman told Times of Malta.
