The Times of Malta leads with the news that air pollution in the south is 20 times above safe levels, while also giving prominence to a young man's death after he was punched in Paceville.

In-Nazzjon also reports on Zach Meli's untimely death, with its main story being the PN's call for all the elderly to have adequate pensions.

L-Orizzont reports that a Bulgarian was arrested in connection with Mr Meli's murder. Its secondary story is a tribute to the work done by anti-poverty campaigner Charles Miceli.

The Malta Independent carries a story on the dismay among police officers that the fund for their families is to be dissolved, as well as an appeal for people to focus on what can be achieved in the workplace, instead of focusing on the gender gap.
