• The feast of St Gregory the Great will be celebrated in Kerċem today. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech leads a Pontifical Mass at 9am. A procession with the saint’s statue, led by Mgr Karm Borg, will leave the church at 5pm with the participation of the St Gregory band of Kerċem.

• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly (Gozo) are organising a charity sale at the Victoria football ground (next to the car park) today from 7.30am to 1pm. Admission fee is €10 per space, which will be paid on the day.

• The Women’s Cancer Gozo Association will be celebrating Women’s Day with an awareness walk from Victoria to Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary today. Registration starts at 9.30am from near Pope John Paul 11 monument and the walk starts at 10am. For more information call Liz on 7797 7910.

• A Vintage Motors Festival, organised by the Maltese Federation of Old Motors, is being held in Għajnsielem today between 9am and 3pm.

• A Way of the Cross will be held from Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary to Għammar Hill today at 3.30 pm.

• The Greatest Showman (PG) will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.

• Lenten talks for all will be held at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel from tomorrow at 7.30pm. Can. Joe Zammit will deliver the talks.

• A blood donation session will be held at the Gozo General Hospital Outpatients Department on Tuesday from 1pm to 5pm.

• ‘Giuseppe Debrincat’ will be launched at the Gozo Public Library, Vajringa Street, Victoria, on Friday at 7pm.

• The annual Easter sweet fair of home-made delicacies will be held at the Don Bosco Oratory foyer on Saturday from 5pm and next Sunday from 8am. Everyone is invited.• Ecce Homo, a Lenten concert with reflections, will be held at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary on Saturday at 7pm. Schola Cantorum Jubilate will make use of different areas within the sanctuary in order to explore different acoustics. Special light effects will help the audience admire the artistry of the unique architecture the church boasts of. Entrance is free and everyone is invited. However, donations at the door, for the church conservation, are welcome.

• This year’s edition of L-Imsallab fi Triqatna will be held along the streets of Victoria on Saturday at 7.30pm.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will be holding a prayer evening at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel, Victoria, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.
