RS2 Software p.l.c. has appointed Daniela Mielke as CEO for its North American business. She will be responsible for RS2’s sales and marketing as well as project delivery and customer relationship management and product development for the domestic market.

Ms Mielke will also be working with the group management team on the global corporate and product strategy.

“The experience Daniela brings with her is a tremendous asset to the group, which will assist to expedite global expansion the group is currently undergoing,” the group’s CEO Radi Abd El Haj said.

Mielke’s career spans more than 25 years in various managerial roles, 15 years of which were in payments and the fintech industry. She started her career as a corporate auditor with Nestlé, after which she moved on to a managerial role at McKinsey, where she learned strategy and business-building skills.

This followed with her tenure at Visa International as senior vice president, where she was a leader in preparing Visa’s IPO. Prior to this role, she held the position of vice president, Head of Global Strategy with PayPal, where she was responsible for leading the repositioning of the company during a time of major change in the payment industry.

Prior to joining RS2, Ms Mielke occupied the role of chief strategy and product officer at Vantiv (now WorldPay), where she focused on developing Vantiv’s platform, its vision and strategy, drove innovation and growth initiatives.

She holds an MBA from IMD in Switzerland and graduated from the University of Fribourg with a degree in Economics and Business Administration.
