A decade ago, the need was felt for the establishment of a skilled contractor who would successfully bring to fruition turnkey projects for fuel pump operators around the Maltese Islands.

This led to the formation of Fritz Ltd, which caters for market needs by providing a host of services, such as technology consultancy, re-designing, engineering and construction of new facilities, project management services, provisioning of above-ground storage and dispensing facilities of fuel and after-sales services.

Throughout last month, Fritz Ltd had a number of ongoing projects being carried out on various sites. One of these sites was F. Busuttil Service Station in Għaxaq, where the above-ground equipment, such as dispensers and the forecourt office, were put in place. The canopy’s structure was also fully constructed, and a five-metre totem pole was installed on the entry side of the forecourt.

Meanwhile, Fritz Ltd was also working on a refurbishment project for VC Service Station in Għargħur. Aided by its sister company, Fahrenheit Freight Forwarders, the necessary material was shipped, ready to be used in the sprucing up of the carwash canopy at the station. The canopy’s existing structure was retained, while new aluminium cladding and LED lights were installed during the renovation works. All this provided the station with a fresher look, without affecting its day-to-day running. General maintenance work was also carried out to ensure the station was kept in prime condition.

Fritz Ltd was also busy hosting Ervin Meszaros. Mr Meszaros is the new representative for Malta from Gilbarco Vedeer-Root, for whom Fritz Ltd is an authorised distributor. The brand is a worldwide leader in the provision of fuel-dispensing technology and integrated fuelling solutions for forecourt facilities. Such visits allow the firm to maintain the strong working relationship between Fritz Ltd and Gilbarco Vedeer-Root.

During his time in Malta, Mr Meszaros highlighted the significance of new products and technologies being developed by Gilbarco Vedeer-Root, and also helped the Fritz Ltd team in understanding how to fully benefit from readily available products. The team also showed Mr Meszaros around the finished F. Busuttil Service Station. He commended the professionality of the work and was impressed by the timeframe in which it was carried out.
